Sunday Fiesta With Wifey 's Cooking

Weekends are always the best time because I get to enjoy wifey's cooking and preparing dinner with her. Today's special was "Wong Jau Har" , Deep Fried Ma Yau in soy sauce, Chicken Soup & Stir Fried Asparagus.

Preparing the dishes was a simple process as we only needed to chop the onions, gingers & garlic and this was my part in preparing the dishes. We wanted to buy a duck but decided not to because wifey felt that these few dished was enough. And yes, she was right....coz I was stuffed after dinner.  There was 1 dish that we didn't manage to take picture of and it was the chicken soup.

Time flies and there goes the weekend and I'll have to wait for another 5 days for the coming weekend to enjoy home cook wifey food again and helping wifey preparing them.

Oh yeah..... there was the long beans with eggs which was left out. Simple and  very delicious food which is 1 of my all time favorite.

Its nice to have a wonderful dinner and time with my wifey after a long week of work (work = stress)

Cafe Vienna @ KLCC

We had our quick lunch at Cafe Vienna @ KLCC... we ordered Wild Mushroom soup (diluted), garlic bread, spaghetti and beef (at this point of time we are still noobs so we forgotten to take note of the name of the dishes that we ate :p)

Hing Ket Grill House - Kampung Jawa, Klang

My colleagues was tired, meetings after meeting, projects after project... and.. she needs a break! So she organized a makan makan after work last Friday, thanks to her! Now I know another new place to get grilled crabs :)
This restaurant is located at Klang.. it took us about an hour plus to reach from Puchong. We reached there about 8pm, it was almost full.. lucky, Ms. Chong reserved a table earlier. We didn't order a lot, just a few "jiu-pai-choy" i.e. grilled Crab, Lamb, Sotong and Fried Tapioca noodle.
The crabs was nice & juicy.. the price for 6 crabs were quite reasonable too. RM148 for 2 big + 4 med crabs... The tapioca fried noodle has got very strong "taugeh" taste, so for those who do not really fancy "taugeh", i think you should give this dish a skip. Grilled sotong wasn't that fantastic. I missed out a picture of "wong-jau-har"....  not a professional blogger yet.. (heee hee). The prawn was suuuuuuuuupperrb. "two thumbs up!" will try to learn how to prepare that dish some day :)
